The Nelson County Board of Education holds a decision meeting on the third Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. Special meetings and working meetings are held as needed at various district locations. All meetings are announced in advance in local media.

Open Records Requests
Residents wishing to inspect a public record may submit an open records request to the Nelson County Schools Central Office by completing our Open Records Request Form. After completing your open records request form, email it to the Open Records Custodian below.
The Nelson County Schools Central Office has developed an Open Records Policy to assist us in responding efficiently to open records requests in a consistent and coordinated manner.
