School meals revert to normal pricing for 2022-23

Beginning with the 2022-2023 school year, the Pandemic Waivers that enabled us to serve meals at no cost have expired. Therefore, we will be reverting back to traditional/normal operations, where meals will be charged according to student eligibility (paid, reduced, free).

Additionally, students attending a Community Eligibility Provision school will not have to pay for breakfast and/or lunch meals.

In Nelson County Schools, all middle and elementary schools retained their CEP status for 2022-23. However, both high schools no longer qualify for CEP, and therefore some students will be required to pay for their meals.
