Nelson County seniors awarded scholarships by CKCF

Twenty-three Nelson County graduating seniors were awarded scholarships at a recent awards banquet.

The event was hosted by the Central Kentucky Community Foundation, which administers the grants.

The students receiving scholarships included:

  • Anna Claire Carwile, Nelson County High School, was awarded the Tyler Foster Memorial Scholarship
  • Logan Gosser, Nelson County High School, was awarded the Central Kentucky Community Foundation Scholarship to ECTC
  • Alexis Gribbins, Nelson County High School, was awarded the Ray Harm Scholarship
  • Elizabeth Kellogg, Nelson County High School, was awarded the Cindy Ethington Memorial Scholarship
  • Jonah Morley, Nelson County High School, was awarded the Central Kentucky Community Foundation Scholarship to ECTC
  • Emiley Nation, Nelson County High School, was awarded the Central Kentucky Community Foundation Scholarship to ECTC and the Dr. Jim Owen Memorial ScholarshipMadelyne Gilpin talks with guests at a scholarships award ceremony hosted by CKCF
  • Kelsey Raymer, Nelson County High School, was awarded the EE Hubbard Memorial Kiwanis Scholarship
  • Emma Roby, Nelson County High School, was awarded the Bardstown Rotary Club Scholarship and the Central Kentucky Community Foundation Scholarship to ECTC
  • Ally Rojas-Gibbs, Nelson County High School, was awarded the Central Kentucky Community Foundation Scholarship to ECTC
  • Emily Simpson, Nelson County High School, was awarded the Kathy Mattingly Kidwell Memorial Scholarship
  • Lawson Strenecky, Nelson County High School, was awarded the Deana's 7th Inning Stretch Scholarship
  • Austin Theis, Nelson County High School, was awarded the Central Kentucky Community Foundation Scholarship to ECTC
  • Lenora Warren, Nelson County High School, was awarded the Central Kentucky Community Foundation Scholarship to ECTC
  • Sarah Coffman, Thomas Nelson High School, was awarded the Central Kentucky Community Foundation Scholarship to ECTC
  • Hailey Coursey, Thomas Nelson High School, was awarded the Central Kentucky Community Foundation Scholarship to ECTC
  • Madelyne Gilpin, Thomas Nelson High School, was awarded the Randy Pinkston Memorial Scholarship
  • Andrew Hogan, Thomas Nelson High School, was awarded the Randy Pinkston Memorial Scholarship
  • Nick Holzknecht, Thomas Nelson High School, was awarded the Central Kentucky Community Foundation Scholarship to ECTC
  • Samuel Richard, Thomas Nelson High School, was awarded the Central Kentucky Community Foundation Scholarship to ECTC
  • Casey Skaggs, Thomas Nelson High School, was awarded the Bardstown Rotary Club Scholarship
  • Elijah Smith, Thomas Nelson High School, was awarded the Llewellyn Memorial Scholarship
  • Noah Snellen, Thomas Nelson High School, was awarded the Dr. and Mrs. E.H. Durnil Scholarship

  • Ella Sweeney, Thomas Nelson High School, was awarded the Taylor Martin Memorial Scholarship and the Tyler Foster Memorial Scholarship
