Schools join to help fight cancer

By Tom Dekle, Communications Director

New Haven and Boston Schools and Nelson County Early Learning Center are sponsoring a fundraiser to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society through #Pennies4Patients.

Homerooms are competing to earn a Papa John’s pizza or other awards for the most money raised. Each school has a goal set to raise $1,000 during the three-week contest period.

The Village FRYSC has planned and is coordinating the effort.
