The district is moving forward with the parent nomination process for the Superintendent Screening Committee.
Your efforts helped produce an initial list of 42 excellent parent nominees. After reaching out to every one of the nominees to verify interest and eligibility, the list of 42 was narrowed to 27 nominees placed on the Parent Representative Ballot.
The designated voting parent from each school will gather to cast his/her vote at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 29 at the Nelson County Central Office to select one of the 27 nominees.
The parent choice for the Superintendent Screening Committee will be announced via Nelson County Schools website, one-call, and Facebook.
