Early registrants will also receive a commemorative WHAS Crusade for Children 5K keepsake.

On-site registration will begin at 7 a.m. On-site payment must be in cash or check only!

Bernheim Forest does have a $5 “environmental impact fee” for persons entering the park. For those who register online in advance of race day, that fee is INCLUDED in your registration. For those that register onsite, you will be required to pay the fee upon entry to the park! To show that you have paid the fee, please present your registration confirmation email at the gate.

As you may or may not know, the WHAS Crusade for Children provides grant money to non-profit agencies, schools, and hospitals that serve children with special needs up to age 18. The term “special needs” is defined as physical, mental, emotional, or medical needs. Many children in Nelson County have benefited from the Crusade’s generosity. In the past, area schools have received grants that funded equipment such as iPads, touch screen computers, a special needs playground, and Snoezelen (multi-sensory) rooms in two district schools. In the last three school years alone, Bardstown and Nelson County Schools have received more than $160,000 from the WHAS Crusade for Children.
