Nelson County Schools Superintendent Wes Bradley recently honored Tom Brown for his work as interim superintendent during the transition from the previous administration to his own, which began May 1.
“I wanted to thank Tom for his generosity, dedication, and hard work during the transition,” Bradley said.
The two spoke during a central office staff meeting on Bradley’s first day as superintendent. Brown and Bradley plan to continue transitioning together until the May 8 board of education work session, when Brown expects to conclude his work with Nelson County Schools.
During that time, he’ll work to finish several projects already underway before Bradley began his tenure as superintendent.
A reception for Bradley is planned for 4:30-6 p.m., Monday, May 7, in the cafeteria at Old Kentucky Home Middle School.
