The Nelson County Board of Education has named four finalists who will interview for the superintendent’s position.

They are the following:

  • Chuck Abell, Assistant Superintendent, Spencer County Schools, Taylorsville, Ky.
  • Taylora Schlosser, Superintendent, Marion County Schools, Lebanon, Ky.
  • Wes Bradley, Principal, Thomas Nelson High School, Bardstown, Ky.
  • Travis Hamby, Superintendent, Trigg County Schools, Cadiz, Ky.

On their interview date, each candidate will spend the day touring schools and meeting the public at an afternoon reception held at a district building.  The interview schedule and location for receptions will be released Thursday.

The board hopes to name the new superintendent in April.
