Nelson County Athletics

Nelson County offers a range of athletic programs from the elementary grades through high school. Participation in athletics gives students after-school activities that are supervised and healthy. National research has shown that athletic participants are frequently involved in other school social and academic programs, often resulting in better school attendance, fewer disciplinary problems and higher graduation rates.
